Our freedom mascot, Beaky, and LisaBri, a poly fragmented Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) activist, welcome you to The DS website (www.dissociatedsurvivor.com). To compensate for our complicated inside system as the result of childhood sexual assault, incest and Ritual Abuse (RA), we have built the DS to be a simple website to follow.

The DS posts one article at month-end on the intricacies of RA, MK, DID, Childhood Sexual, Physical, and/or Emotional Assault. Please visit the DS for 'Beaky's Picks of the month on interesting websites he has flushed out, short stories, and Kids Play items.

HighwayReader's suggestions have played an important role in the shape of the DS. We encourage this networking with conviction and invite you to share your experience and health with all our readers. Activists all over the world are changing lifetime patterns of hurt and pain. One voice added to another will eradicate RA/MK and Assault. For all questions, concerns, or permission to reprint an article, please email us at LisaBri6@hotmail.com.

Beaky's pick of the month on the DS is Childhelp, at http://www.childhelp.org. It was founded in 1959 and is dedicated to victims of child abuse and/or neglect.  The site includes Programs such as Prevention/Intervention and Good-Touch/Bad-Touch within elementary schools.

Childhelp reaches over 450,000 children annually. It's Learning Center has special tabs for professionals, parents and kids, as well as Books and Literature. This wonderful site is  a worldwide base for all those dedicated to helping children. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is 1-800-A-Child.

This month's article on the DS entitled "Advice: To Give or Not to Give" deals with a topic not necessarily related to RA. It is a troubling topic for me and I wished to hear back from my readers. Is this a Survivor topic or is it not? As always read it, take what you may and leave the rest behind.

Thank you, Love LisaBri...

My Vision

This website is dedicated to those of us who have suffered physical, emotional, and/or sexual assault sometime during our childhood or adult lives.

Whether you are a survivor, a friend of a survivor, sister, brother or parent, you deserve a voice to aid in your healing process.

Even though I am not a professional therapist (and therefore this site is not licensed to give out therapy), My Vision in sharing my own recovery process through writings and children's play with 'Beaky' - Our Own Personal Quest for Freedom symbol - is to inspire your voice and in doing so, release you from the bonds of silence and isolation.

This site is not all about me - it is all about US, as a community of survivors trying to free ourselves from the atrocities of our past.

For survivors who developed any of the Dissociative Disorders - we've been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder - we look forward to meeting and growing with you.

Join Beaky's team and pass this website to another and help us begin to build a strong, vibrant voice saying NO to assault on all levels.
